Excel Engineering College

Excel Educational Institutions are promoted by SRET – Sri Rengaswamy Educational Trust. Prof. Dr. A.K. Natesan is the Hon.Chairman, his wife Mrs.N.Parvathy, the Managing Trustee and the son, Dr.N.Mathan Karthick, the Vice-Chairman. The Trust is started in the year 2001 with an aim to provide education to all, especially to the downtrodden and rural community.

The Trust conducts Education Guidance and Exhibition since its inception which attracts over one hundred higher education institutions of Engineering, Medical, Para Medical, Art & Science, Polytechnic, Business Schools and Colleges of Education apart from Nationalised Banks which offer Education loans to the needy students, thus providing educational guidance and assistance under one roof to the aspiring parents and the students.

The Trust started its niche in the teaching field in the year 2006 with Excel College of Education (B.Ed.) and four Teacher Training Institutions ( D.T.Ed.). Next year, Master of Education (M.Ed.) is introduced in Excel College of Education and another new College of Education in the name of Kandhaswamy College of Education is started.

The Trust entered into the Engineering College field in the year 2007 with Excel Engineering College, in the present campus at Pallakapalayam. Following Excel Engineering College, Excel College of Engineering for Women, Excel Business School and Excel Polytechnic College are started in the year 2008. The development is continuing with Excel College of Engineering and Technology and Excel College of Architecture & Planning in the year 2009.

Thus the ever growing Excel Group of Educational Institutions is marching towards the excellence in Technical Education
