Requirement:
• JAVA Developers with 5+ Experience
• Strong skills in J2EE, Spring, and Hibernate.
• Oracle and MySql back end
• Java Liferay framework so any experience in Liferay is a plus. However, they will train the engineer in Liferay as long as he/she is a strong java engineer.
Java Developer
• This position is responsible for developing software applications by performing review, analysis, design and modification of small to large-scale systems and components. His/her responsibilities will include designing, coding, testing, debugging, installation and maintenance of Web Content Management (WCM) platform and applications.
• Job Responsibilities:
• § Developing new complex features and functions for software applications, utilizing advanced knowledge of Java, J2EE and JDBC as well as good understanding of deployment strategies for distributed/multi-tiered applications
• § Designing software solutions according to defined application requirements
• § Executing Unit Testing and performing debugging of applications
• § Providing programming support through all testing phases and general releases of software
• § Performing peer code reviews, data flow diagramming and process modeling for code architecture
• § Designing software and database objects, conducting fact-gathering sessions with customers and participating in the group application design activities
• § Adhering to department programming standards and methodology
• § Preparing pre-release and release process documents including change control, contingency and fallback plans
• § Performing required maintenance and support for existing production applications
• § Identifying problems and analyzing solutions including workarounds
• § Performing tuning, repairs and/or maintenance on integrated system support
• § Working as a member of a cross-functional, integrated development team
• § Collaborating with other Engineers to improve development standards and other departmental processes and documentation
