This place is on top of Kalvary hills, where you can take your private vehicles too. There will be a ticket counter run by Kerala Forest department.  You may also book resorts /  stays in the hill. Morning view from the hill top is an amazing experience.

Catchment ares of Idukki / Cheruthony dams which is situated around 2 kms away from Kalvary Hills. 

You will feel like standing above the sky while watching the hills from Kalvary hills.
